07/15/2008: Justin Goeres joins JKI
JKI is very excited to announce that Justin Goeres has joined the JKI team of LabVIEW and system integration experts. Justin Goeres comes to JKI with over 10 years of LabVIEW experience in developing and supporting a variety of automation and test systems, with a focus on the semiconductor and biomedical industries. Mr. Goeres also enjoys a strong relationship with National Instruments, having founded an NI Alliance Partner company in North Carolina. His strong analytical and mathematical skills, fanatical devotion to customers, and dedication to the LabVIEW community will be true assets to JKI.

Justin Goeres is a very active member of the LabVIEW community and is a key contributor to both the LAVA and OpenG independent and open source LabVIEW communities. Justin has contributed to several notable projects, including the first cross-platform object-oriented LabVIEW library for interfacing to the popular open-source ImageMagick toolkit.

By joining JKI, Mr. Goeres (Certified LabVIEW Developer) adds to the core of the team, helps reinforce JKI's ability to provide expert system development services to its customers, and strengthens JKI's commitment to the LabVIEW community.

07/14/2008: JKI Unveils VI Package Manager 2.0
JKI is very excited to announce the availability of VI Package Manager (VIPM) Professional Edition 2.0 Beta for public testing and feedback. This release follows a long period of extensive planning and development and results in, what we hope to be, a significant improvement to one of the best LabVIEW software applications that the world has ever seen.



This new release gives you the ability to create your own packages of reusable VIs, allowing you to put your reusable LabVIEW VIs into the palettes, organized the way you want, in just minutes. It has powerful, easy-to-use features that make sure you're always in control of your reusable VIs, without the worry of missing subVIs in your LabVIEW projects.

For a long while now, VI Package Manager users have been asking how they can use VIPM to more effectively manage their LabVIEW reuse libraries. We were certainly listening and are happy to announce that the next version of VIPM, due out later this year, will make reusing LabVIEW VIs easier than ever before.
